Much like the Olympic torch run, the GSSI flag is currently being passed from community to community by girls and volunteers. The flag run began during GSSI’s Sunrise Ceremony at the Corporate Service Center in Glen Carbon on March 12, 2012 and is progressing through southern Illinois.   The flag’s current location is highlighted in green. March 12, 2012: SU 108 (Edwardsville/Glen Carbon) will receive the flag at the Sunrise Ceremony at the Glen Carbon Corporate Office. SU 108 will have the flag from March 12 -18 

 

March 18-24: SU 111 (Collinsville/Maryville) Collinsville SU will pass the flag to SU 203 (Fairview Heights) on March 24 at GSSI’s Annual Meeting.
