Description:
THIS PROGRAM IS NOW FULL & CLOSED. Calling all wildlife lovers! Don't miss the Scouting for Wildlife Campout! This will be an awesome opportunity to get outside, do fun hands-on activities with local wildlife professionals and enjoy camp! Check out a fish shocking boat, do some wildlife tracking, meet a wildlife rehabilitator and some of her animals and build bluebird boxes for our feathered friends! In the evening, there will still be time to relax around the campfire and enjoy a s'more with friends! Limit adults to Girl Scout ratios. Category:  Multi Grade Level Programs[10:00am] Rocketry Challenge -FULL & CLOSED
Description:
THIS PROGRAM IS NOW FULL & CLOSED. Girl Scout Juniors through Ambassadors will build their own Firestreak rockets to test launch at camp. They will also launch soda bottle rockets, solar bags, bicarbonate rockets and generally experiment with aeronautical design and propulsion. Category: Brownie Programs[1:00pm] Journey Through the Japanese Garden
Description:
Brownies will learn about Japanese cuisine and healthy living practices such as tai chi and gardening. Girls will have fun at the Children's Garden/Playground after their 2 hour gardening session. Activities will help complete requirements in the Brownie Quest journey. Registration Deadline: 3/28/13 Cost: $11/girl (includes 2 hour lesson plus a wristband for participation into the Children's Garden after gardening session); $8/adult (includes admission into the garden and a wristband for participation into the Children's Garden); 1 adult free for every five Girl Scouts registered with the troop. (List all adult names on registration and designate those entering free). (Class size is limited to Girl Scouts and their adult chaperones only). Garden is open to the public for those families who wish to visit the garden while their daughter is in gardening session. Cost per adult & children 13 and up is $8; siblings under 2 are free. Cost for Children's Garden for children 12 and under is $3; adults 13 and older are free. Fees for families are to be paid at the gate at the gardens.
