  Category: Cadette Programs[All day event] PAT (Program Aide Training)
Description:
The council PA Training is designed to prepare Cadettes to deliver Girl Scout programs to younger girls. The training also offers camp specializations for girls interested in completing their hours out at camp. Registration Deadline: 3-17-14 Cost: $15/girl for leadership (9am - 11:30am) Cost: $20/girl for camp specialization (11:30am - 4pm)

8:00am Category: Volunteer Opportunities[8:00am] First Aid, CPR, and AED Training
Description:
This is a 2-year certification for First Aid, CPR and AED. This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to act in an emergency until professional medical help arrives. You will learn and practice adult, child and infant CPR and first aid skills. You will also learn how to administer an Automated External Defibrillator. This training is REQUIRED for one adult per troop when participating in activities away from meeting site. Who: Adults who will be serving as the trained first-aider and/or CPR certified adult for the troop/group. Cost: (includes free student first aid kit) $18 recertification for Girl Scout members (must have had previous certification through Red Cross). $23 first time certification for Girl Scout members. Add $5 to each cost for non Girl Scout members. Add $8 if you would like to purchase the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED manual. Bring: Sack lunch and drink(optional). Dress comfortably. Min/Max: 6/20 Deadline: Registration closes 3/17/14 Note: Registration fee(s) for these courses or an application for financial assistance MUST accompany the registration.

Category: Volunteer Opportunities[8:00am] Troop Camp Training
Description:
Come learn about camping the Girl Scout way in a fun and safe environment. This course is designed to help adults plan and prepare for an overnight camping event with girls. Course content includes: site information and resources, campfire building, emergency and safety procedures, indoor/outdoor cooking and recipes, menu planning and camp activities. This training is REQUIRED for one adult per troop for overnight camping experiences of two (2) nights or less. Certification is valid for three years. Recertification written test is available from the Corporate or Regional Service Center. Who: Adults who will serve as the outdoor trained adult for the troop/group Min/Max: 6/20 Cost: $10 (includes supplies, bandana, lunch and manual) Deadline: Registration closes 3/13/14. Note: Registration fee(s) for these courses MUST accompany the registration. All trainings take place rain or shine. You will be outdoors for part of the training. Certification is only given to participants who remain for the entire training.

Category: Brownie Programs[1:30pm] Making Friends: Artists Trading Cards II
Description:
We're all artists at heart, and Artist Trading Cards (ATC) are a great way in which artists can share their art and get to know one another - a great way to show your appreciation of a friend or make new friends! The cards are 2-1/2 x 3-1/2, a standard card size for tradable cards (such as baseball cards). In this ATC workshop, each participant will make up to 6 different cards using various designs and different art materials. This program fulfills part of the Friendship Badge. Registration Deadline: 2/27/14 Cost: $5/girl Min/Max: 5/20

Description:
This course provides archery training and lessons on care and use of equipment and safety issues for those who wish to become certified or re-certified in archery instruction with the intent of providing archery sessions for Girl Scout groups at camp. Min/Max: 6/20 Cost: Free Note: Please bring water, paper, pen/pencil. Deadline to register is 3/17/14.
