Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois November 2017 Volunteer Spotlight Awards

Volunteer Spotlight for web

GSSI’s Spotlight Award recognizes the incredible service and dedication that our amazing volunteers devote to Girl Scouts' mission of building girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.  There is no form required to make a nomination - simply e-mail or tell your Service Unit Manager or Volunteer Experience Manager.  Please include the nominee’s name, Service Unit number and one or two sentences that express why you would like that volunteer to be recognized. Volunteers will be honored each month there are nominations made. Help us put the spotlight on our awesome volunteers!

Read more about our November 2017 Spotlight Award Recipient and the kudos she has received from her fellow Girl Scout volunteers:

Heather Sherrod from Belleville: "Heather is the Troop Leader for Brownie Troop #571.  She shows her dedication to the girls every week. She is patient and always finds a way to help the girls see the best in themselves. Heather has introduced the Brownies to new and fun activities that push the girls to learn new things about themselves, each other and the community around them."
