Victoria Shore will be a featured speaker at Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois' United We Lead Gala on August 17 at The Regency Conference Center in O'Fallon.
Victoria has been a Girl Scout for nine years and has completed her Bronze Award and Silver Award. This year, she served as one of four Girl Scout Delegates from Southern Illinois to attend the 63rd Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations in New York City. Victoria’s main message throughout her many endeavors is that every girl is capable of accomplishing her goals. She hopes to continue to empower young women everywhere to become a G.I.R.L. (Go-Getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader) and to help the girls of today become the women of tomorrow. Victoria is the 16 year old daughter of Jeff and Elizabeth Shore and is currently in her Junior year of high school in Marion, Illinois.
