Early next month, Girl Scouts will release a refreshed member account management system. The fresh system will provide increased visibility to your Girl Scout member account, make it simpler to manage and maintain household memberships and easier find more fun for your girl! Troop leaders - managing troop memberships will be easier than ever too! As the time to go live approaches, we want our members to know that we will be here to guide you through the transition from beginning to end.
It is important to note that MyGS, gsLearn, and the Volunteer Toolkit (VTK) will be unavailable from November 19 through December 7 as GSUSA prepares our system for upgrade.
In the refreshed system, all parents/caregivers must have a unique email address to identify them. In our current system, many parents/caregivers are sharing one email address to access their family’s Girl Scout account. To ensure a smooth transition, please take a moment to prepare your household by following three steps.
How to Prepare for the New Member Account System
1. Log in to your MyGS login page account.
2. Review the email addresses for your household. Are the parents/caregivers in your household using the same email address? If yes, please complete the next step.
3. Provide a new email address for the secondary caregiver. You’re all set! Thank you for your help in ensuring a smooth transition for your family to the refreshed system.
We will continue to share more information to help you get ready for system downtime and going live on the new system. As always, if you have any questions, please contact Customer Care at firstname.lastname@example.org or 800-345-6858.
