Share Service to Commemorate 9/11

911-Service-Coalition-News

To commemorate those who lost their lives during the heartbreaking events that took place 20 years ago on September 11, 2001, Girl Scouts is proud to be a part of the National 9/11 Day of Service Coalition. Along with 9/11 Day and a wide coalition of leading nonprofits and organizations, we hope to rekindle the extraordinary spirit of unity, compassion, and service that arose in the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 tragedy, when people across the country came together in truly inspiring ways.

Our goal is to inspire as many as 100 million acts of service and kindness in tribute to those killed and injured on 9/11, first responders, recovery workers, and members of our military community. We hope that, along with your troop and Girl Scout sisters, you’ll join us by participating in acts of kindness and community service on or around September 11, 2021.
