Join Stem the Gap Academy for a 2.5-hour workshop where Girl Scouts
can earn Coding Basics, Digital Game Design, and App Development
Badges. Participants will learn about JavaScript syntax, functions,
and arguments, as well as x-y coordinates, Boolean logic, IF
statements, and control flow. The workshop covers game design, app
development, and data collection and analysis. Participants will gain
valuable skills in coding, game design, and app development, with a
focus on problem-solving and social impact. Through these activities,
participants gain a comprehensive understanding of coding, game
design, and app development while learning how to apply these skills
to create positive change in their communities. The is $40.00 per Girl
Scout.
Badge- Senior coding Basics Level 1, 2, and 3 Badges,
after completing the workshop, the Girl Scout may purchase her badge.
It's important to note that STEM the Gap Academy does not provide
badges for
completing the workshop.
