Calling all Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors! Join us for a spooky evening as we help bring the Raging Rivers Haunted Trail to life during the water park's annual Halloween event. Girl members are invited to participate alongside their leaders and caregivers by dressing up as zombies and other creepy characters to haunt guests as they make their way through the trail. Whether you're perfecting your zombie walk, creepy stare, or spooky sound effects, you'll help create a frightfully fun experience for the community!
We'll meet on Friday, October 17, from 4:30-10:00 p.m. at Raging Rivers Waterpark in Grafton. There is no cost to participate, but space is limited, so be sure to register early. Costume guidelines and additional event details will be provided after registration.
Come dressed in your best zombie-inspired attire and get ready for an unforgettable evening of scares, laughs, service, and Halloween fun with your fellow Girl Scouts!
This is NOT A DROP-OFF EVENT. Adults are required to register at no cost and remain with their Girl Scouts for the event. As required by Volunteer Essentials and Safety Activity Checkpoints, adults attending this event are responsible for their troop or individual Girl Scouts' behavior. During non-drop-off Girl Scout events, adults attending the event are responsible for the safety and well-being of the youth that are in their care during the event. Do not leave your Girl Scouts in the care of other adults at the event who are not part of your troop or directly related to the child. All adults participating with a troop or registered to volunteer at the event are required to have a current/eligible background check (CBC) and to be a registered Girl Scout adult volunteer.
