Join us for an exciting day camp where all girls can learn and
experience the essentials of outdoor camping! Camp-Ready Set-Scout is
designed to introduce participants to key camping skills while
fostering confidence, teamwork, and a love for nature. .
Each
day is filled with hands-on activities, including:
Tent Setup
and Knot Tying: Learn how to pitch a tent and master basic knots used
in camping.
Campfire Building and Safety: Discover the art of
building a safe and functional campfire, perfect for roasting
marshmallows and telling stories.
Outdoor Cooking: Get a taste
of delicious campfire meals and learn how to cook safely in the great
outdoors.
Nature Exploration: Enjoy hikes, and nature scavenger
hunts.
Fun Camp Crafts: Make a sit upon, camp SWAPS and your own
mess kit.
Basic First Aid: Understand the basics of first aid
and how to stay safe while exploring.
Archery and Sling Shots:
Learn how to safely use a bow and arrow or sling shot.
Teamwork
and Leadership Activities: Participate in fun, group-based challenges
that build leadership, communication, and problem-solving
skills.
*Adult Volunteers-earn $15 off Girl Scout registration
fees when you volunteer for day camp! One discount per family.
Whether it's your first time camping or you're looking to enhance your
outdoor skills, this day camp offers a fun, supportive environment for
all skill levels. Join us for 3 days of adventure, learning, and new
friendships!
