Celebrate Girl Scouts Love State Parks and experience the natural
beauty of the Cache River on a guided kayak tour! Join us for a
4.6-mile kayak trail loop through the serene bottomland swamp, where
you will encounter diverse wildlife and lush landscapes. Explore the
beauty of southern Illinois with expert naturalists on a kayak
tour. Learn about the areas history, ecology, and wildlife as you
immerse yourself in the serene surroundings while floating along the
beautiful water. Keep your eyes peeled for majestic herons, graceful
egrets, and the elusive river otters that call the Cache River home.
The area is also a prime spot for birdwatching, with numerous species
of migratory birds making it a seasonal haven. Wildlife Tours on the
Beautiful Cache River offer a perfect blend of relaxation, education,
and connection with nature. Participating Girl Scouts will receive a
patch for this event! Make it a Weekend Adventure! Want to extend your
outdoor experience? Pair this kayak tour with our overnight campout
