Calling all Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts! Do you want to learn how
to sew your own patches on your vest or sash? Join us for a fun and
hands-on 45-minute sewing session on Saturday, May 10, 2025, where
you'll get to sew your patches all by yourself! Whether you're new to
sewing or already a pro, this workshop will guide you through the
process of attaching your Girl Scout patches with confidence and
creativity. You will also learn a variety of hand stitches for all
kinds of patches. Four sessions will be offered on Saturday, May 10,
2025, at the Glen Carbon Girl Scout Shop: 10 girls per session
* Session 1: 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM
* Session 2: 10:00
AM - 10:45 AM
* Session 3: 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM
* Session 4: 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM
Cost: $5 per
girl, which includes all sewing supplies. Bring your patches and a
vest or sash from home. Bring your enthusiasm and let's get stitching!
Spaces are limited, so be sure to sign up early to secure your spot.
We can't wait to see you there! This is NOT a drop-off event. Girl
Scouts are required to be accompanied by a caregiver, troop leader, or
other trusted adult. Adult supervision is required for the duration of
the event according to the Safety Activity Checkpoints. (Adult
registration is not required)
