Unleash your inner scientist and baker in our innovative Great Girl
Scout Science Bake-In: Holiday Edition! This unique event blends the
magic of holiday cookie baking with engaging STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) lessons that will delight
and educate Juniors - Ambassadors. Get ready to mix, measure, and
marvel at the wonders of science in the kitchen.
Join us for a
series of interactive online sessions where you willll learn how to
create delicious holiday cookies while exploring the fascinating
science behind baking. Girls will receive the featured cookie recipe,
purchase the supplies, and log on to bake with other Girl Scouts!
Whether you are a curious young scientist, an aspiring baker, or
simply looking for a fun, educational activity to enjoy with family
and friends, this series offers something for everyone.
Join us
for our last virtual Holiday Baking science lesson as we share our
favorite family recipes. Each Girl Scout will bring their favorite
holiday cookie recipe, purchase the necessary ingredients, and bake
along with the group. During the event, everyone will have a chance to
share their recipe and learn science-based baking tips while enjoying
the holiday spirit together.
There is no cost to register for
this program. Each session will begin on Zoom at 6:30 pm. All cookie
supplies must be purchased before the event and prepared at home
during the virtual event. Girls may register individually or with a
troop. Cookie recipe steps and supply list will be provided after
registration closes. Fun patches for this event must be purchased
separately from the Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois Council Shop
before 12/20/25.
