Are you an outdoor enthusiast? Are you looking to connect with others with similar interests? Open to Girl Scouts 8th-12th grades, register today for this free virtual info session and learn about Girl Scouts of Southern IllinoisTrailblazer Troops. Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois Trailblazer troops focus primarily on outdoor experiences, skills, adventures, exploring any or all of the five key Trailblazer concentration areas: Hiking, Camping, Survivorship, Adventure Sports, and Stewardship. This session will cover that background/guidelines for Trailblazer troops, the Learn/Explore/Lead model, a look at sample activities that can lead toward the Trailblazer pin, what sample troop structures might look like, and next steps for those who want to start, support or join one. This is a free information session and will be hosted via Zoom.
