Volunteers-in-Training (VIT) are Senior & Ambassador Girl Scouts
who have completed 9th grade who would like to mentor a Girl Scout
Daisy, Brownie, Junior, or Cadette group outside of the camp
experience. The skills learned are also applicable to everyday life
and will help girls become confident, effective leaders in everything
they do. Becoming a Volunteer-in-Training is also a great
resume
boost for girls and sets them up for success when going for their
Gold!
ABOUT THE VIRTUAL WORKSHOP: This training will take place
over Zoom. All materials will be sent digitally once registration
closes. Girl Scouts will be asked to participate in discussions in
this Zoom format. This training pricing includes a VIT pin upon
completion of hours and requirements. Once these are turned in, the
VIT pin will be mailed to the Girl Scout.
