Calling all future Junior and Cadette writers and content creators!
Join us for Write On! Virtual Screenwriter and Scribe Badge Workshop,
exclusively designed for Girl Scout Juniors and Cadettes eager to
explore the fascinating world of
storytelling! This creative
opportunity will occur on Zoom on Sunday, December 7, 2025.
Juniors log on a 2:30pm for the Scribe workshop.
Cadettes will begin Screenwriter at 4:00pm. Each
session will last about an hour. This will be a
collaborative
experience that nurtures creativity and storytelling skills. The cost
is $7 and includes a badge.
Girls will learn the fundamentals of
screenwriting from real writers and content creators, including
character development, plot structuring, and dialogue creation while
engaging in fun and challenging exercises designed to spark
their
imagination and enhance storytelling abilities. We've
invited Girl Scout Alums and Screenwriting students from DePaul
University's Theater School to join us virtually! Upon completion of
the event, participants will earn their Junior Scribe or Cadette
Screenwriter badges, showcasing their new skills and accomplishments.
The cost of the program is $7 and includes a badge. Virtual sessions
will not be recorded.
This event is open to all Girl Scout
Juniors and Cadettes interested in exploring the art of screenwriting,
regardless of prior experience. Whether you're a budding writer or
simply curious about storytelling, this event is perfect for you!
