Join us June 12-14, 2026, for a special opportunity for Girl Scouts
and their families this summer at Camp Torqua! Family Camp: Adventure
Together! Mini Family Camp will offer a unique experience for Girl
Scouts and their families to come to camp together, enjoy what camp
has to offer, and make memories together!
Girl Scout families
will cook dinner over the campfire, take a night hike around camp,
enjoy archery, gaga ball, and more! Crafts and badge activities will
be provided for girls and their families to do together. Families will
check in at 5pm to set up their tents or settle into their
climate-controlled cabins. Families will eat dinner together, enjoy an
evening hike, and watch an interactive movie under the stars before
bedtime. The fun continues on Saturday with family games and
activities, arts and crafts, and cooking our dinners over the fire.
We'll finish the weekend with skits, songs, and s'mores around the
campfire. Families will enjoy a hearty breakfast on Sunday at 8 am,
and checkout at 9 am.
Family registration costs $50 per person
and includes meals, lodging, activities, and badges. All adults
participating with their Girl Scouts are required to have a
current/eligible background check (CBC) and to be a registered Girl
Scout adult member. Registration deadline is 5/18/26.
**Important Information: There will be a mandatory Parent and Camper
Virtual Meeting for this Mini Overnight Camp on Thursday, May 21st, at
6:30 PM to discuss packing requirements and what to expect for an
overnight camp experience. This meeting will cover essential
information to ensure you and your Girl Scout are prepared and ready
for this outdoor adventure!**
Cost: $50 per person. Please
select either a cabin session or a tent session; any tagalongs for
your family should be registered using the "Family Guest"
option. A patch is included with this event.
