(All items will be mailed out to the address on file or Troop Leader by the second session.)
Session 1: Planning Your Path - Saturday, November 7, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Not sure what comes after high school? You're not alone! There are lots of options out there. In this session, we'll break down different paths that include college, trade schools, gap years, and entering the workforce. Learn how to choose what's right for you and explore career interests. We'll talk about what admissions and applications really look for.
Session 2: Money Matters - Saturday, December 12, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
In this session, we'll cover budgeting, saving, banking basics, and how credit actually works. We'll also break down the real cost of living, from rent to groceries, so you can feel more prepared and in control of your financial future. Get ready to learn how to build a simple budget and price out those needs vs. wants.
Session 3: Life Skills - Saturday, January 30, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Being an adult isn't just about paying bills. It's about knowing how to take care of yourself and navigating the real world after school. In this session, we'll talk about life skills such as time management, professional communication (emailing professions, professionals, and bosses), and self-advocacy. You'll leave with practical tips, helpful resources, and the confidence to handle whatever comes your way!
