Calling all Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts! Do you want to learn how
to sew your own patches on your vest or sash? Join us for a fun and
hands-on 45-minute sewing session on Saturday, April 11, 2026, where
you'll get to sew your patches all by yourself! Whether you're new to
sewing or already a pro, this workshop will guide you through the
process of attaching your Girl Scout patches with confidence and
creativity. You will also learn a variety of hand stitches for all
kinds of patches.
Three sessions will be offered on Saturday,
April 11, 2026, at the Glen Carbon Girl Scout Shop:
* Session
1: 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM
* Session 2: 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM
* Session 3: 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM
The cost per Girl Scout is
$5, which includes all sewing supplies. Bring your patches and a vest
or sash from home. Adults register at no cost. Bring your enthusiasm,
and let's get stitching! Spaces are limited, so be sure to sign up
early to secure your spot. We can't wait to see you there!
This
is NOT a drop-off event. Girl Scouts are required to be accompanied by
a caregiver, troop leader, or other adult member. Adult supervision is
required for the duration of the event according to the Safety
Activity Checkpoints.
