Calling all Girl Scouts! Do you want to learn how to sew your own
patches on your vest or sash? Join us for a fun and hands-on 45-minute
sewing session on Saturday, January 10, 2026, where you'll get to try
your hand at sewing your patches all by yourself! We'll also try
stitching on felt and a variety of other materials. Whether you're new
to sewing or already a pro, this workshop will guide you through the
process of attaching your Girl Scout patches with confidence and
creativity. You will also learn a variety of hand stitches for all
kinds of patches.
Four sessions will be offered on Saturday,
January 10, 2026, at the Metropolis Girl Scout House:
* Session
1: 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM
* Session 2: 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM
*
Session 3: 3:00 PM - 3:45 PM
Cost: $5 per girl, which includes
all sewing supplies. Bring your patches and a vest or sash from
home.
Bring your enthusiasm and let's get stitching! Spaces are
limited, so be sure to sign up early to secure your spot. We can't
wait to see you there!
This is NOT a drop-off event. Girl Scouts
are required to be accompanied by acaregiver, troop leader, or other
trusted adult. Adults are required to register at no cost. Adult
supervision is required for the duration of the event according to the
Safety Activity Checkpoints there are 15 girls per session
