Calling all Girl Scouts! Are you ready to learn some beginner sewing
skills and create something fun all by yourself? Join us for a Sew
Myself hands-on sewing workshop designed especially for beginners!
This 2-hour session will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from
4:30-6:30 PM in Metropolis. The cost per Girl Scout is $5.
Daisy-Ambassador Girl Scouts will learn basic hand-sewing techniques
while creating a felt tic-tac-toe board to take home. We'll practice
stitching on felt and explore simple stitches that build confidence
and creativity-no prior sewing experience needed! This workshop
focuses on learning foundational sewing skills.
This is NOT a
drop-off event. Girl Scouts are required to be accompanied by a
caregiver, troop leader, or other trusted adult. Adults are required
to register at no cost. Adult supervision is required for the duration
of the event according to the Safety Activity Checkpoints.
