Think like a Cookie CEO! On Sunday, November 22, older Girl Scouts are invited to take on the Cookie CEO Challenge at Escape 618 Escape Room in Belleville, IL, where cookie season training meets the excitement of an escape experience.
Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors will put their entrepreneurial skills to work through hands-on challenges focused on the real-world skills they need to become confident cookie entrepreneurs. Girls will work in smaller teams to solve puzzles, make decisions, manage money, interact with customers, develop sales strategies, and think strategically about their cookie goals and earnings. Girl cost is $30 and includes a cookie badge. Cadettes will earn their Cookie Innovator badge, Seniors will earn their My Cookie Network badge, and Ambassadors will earn their Cookie Influencer badge through this escape room experience. The challenges are designed to make cookie training active and engaging while encouraging girls to communicate, collaborate, problem-solve, and think like business leaders. Each experience runs about 2 hours: teams start with roughly 30 minutes of cookie challenges, then take on a full one-hour escape room at Escape 618 Escape Room, with time to celebrate their win. Each session can accommodate up to 24 Girl Scouts and 12 registered adults. Girls will be divided into smaller groups during the cookie challenges, allowing each participant to take on an active role in the experience.
The cost is $30 per Girl Scout and includes a Girl Scout cookie badge. Adult volunteers must register but attend at no cost. Cadettes will earn their Cookie Innovator badge, Seniors will earn their My Cookie Network badge, and Ambassadors will earn their Cookie Influencer badge through this escape room experience.
This is not a drop-off event. Troop leaders and required adult volunteers must remain onsite for the entire experience and follow all applicable Girl Scout Safety Activity Checkpoints and supervision requirements.
Before you come:
Please arrive about 15 minutes early to check in so we can start on time.
Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing you can move around in.
Choose from one of five start times (each experience is about 2 hours):
9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:30 PM, 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM
