Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois is excited to expand again on the
Women in STEM Patch Program with more exciting Women in STEM Webinar
Series!
Join us for the Women Webinar Series patch add-ons that
feature exclusive new opportunities to hear and interview professional
women in STEM fields. Get inspired by inspirational women in STEM on
their journeys, experiences, and insights into the world of Science,
Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Explore the endless
possibilities in STEM with firsthand experience to ask questions and
gain valuable advice.
The program fee includes a patch bar,
designed to pair with the Women in STEM patch. All registered girls
who are present in the virtual space will receive a limited-edition
STEM enamel pin (1 of 6 different collectable designs) to coordinate
with the Women in STEM patch. You must be present to get this bonus
surprise. Girl Scouts must have their name present on the screen at
the beginning to receive this bonus surprise when attendance is
taken.
The recorded presentation will be available later to
re-watch for those unable to attend during the live streaming, but
will not qualify for the bonus Pin. Email confirmation details will
include the Zoom link and more!
Extra! Interested in attending
in person as a group troop event? Edwardsville location for Satellite
viewing will require a minimum number of 10 Girl Scouts to secure
slots to ensure in-person viewing. The satellite location are not
drop-off. Girl Scouts must attend with a registered adult or Troop
Leader.
