Light up your curiosity with this hands-on STEM experience! In Wax, Wicks & Reactions, Girl Scouts will explore the science behind candle making while creating their very own candles to take home.This interactive activity combines chemistry, physics, and artistry perfect for curious minds who love experimenting with everyday science. By the end of the session, Girl Scouts will not only have a handmade candle but also a deeper understanding of the science that makes it glow. Girl Scouts will customize their candles with colors, scents, and fun designs, making this both a creative and scientific adventure. They will also explore the fascinating history of candle making, from ancient tallow and beeswax candles to modern, colorful creations. Cost- $25.00 per Girl Scout; $25.00 per Adult

Session 2- 6 pm- 8 pm
Information for Caregivers, Volunteers, and Troop Leaders: At least two adults are required to register and attend per group or one adult per individual Girl Scout registered. Safety ratio must be met for this event per age group. Safety note: Hot materials will be used during this event.
Note: This is NOT A DROP-OFF EVENT. Adults are required to remain with their Girl Scouts or assigned groups for safety ratios during this event.
