Congratulations to Lindsay Rollins from Granite City! She is being recognized with Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois' Volunteer Spotlight Award for her service with Service Unit 102 Granite City/Madison/Venice.
Volunteer Spotlight Awards celebrate volunteers who are honored by their peers for living the Girl Scout Law. Here is why Lindsay is being recognized as a shining example of a great volunteer:
"Lindsay is a 'true Scout Mom!' She has a son in Boy Scouts and her daughter is a Girl Scout. She is also a teacher and runs her own plant business with her family called Rollins Plant Stand. She is very caring, considerate, and kind.
Lindsay has been treasurer since our troop first began two years ago. She not only helps to keep track of our finances, but she is a great support, and is willing to help whenever needed."
