Congratulations to Brittany Hodge from Odin. She is being recognized with Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois' Volunteer Spotlight Award for her service with Service Unit 21 East Marion County.
Volunteer Spotlight Awards celebrate volunteers who are honored by their peers for living the Girl Scout Law. Here is why Brittany is being recognized as a shining example of a great volunteer:
"Brittany was my co-leader for a short period of time and at the beginning of this school year, Brittany started her own troop in her town where she lives. She is very determined and creative. When with my troop last year, she has helped a lot with creative ideas for meetings and games.
Brittany has stepped up to arrange and organize a recruitment event for the community. There were some last-minute issues and she pulled it off by doing the best she could with what she had. She has gone above and beyond as a troop leader."
