Service Unit 109 Troy/St. Jacob/Marine Named February Standout Service Unit
Congratulations to Service Unit 109 Troy/St. Jacob/Marine for being named the February 2025 Standout Service Unit!
Service Unit 109 in Troy, St. Jacob, and Marine coordinated a multi-council sleepover at City Museum in St. Louis on February 16-17. A total of 465 Girl Scouts and registered adults from Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois and Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri attended the event!
Sara Duncan, leader of Cadette Troop 136, partnered with the new City Museum owners to pilot the Girl Scout sleepover. This was the museum's first overnight event since the COVID-19 shutdown in 2020. Attendees were able to explore many areas of the museum all night long, watch movies on the Whale, receive dinner and breakfast, and get patches as part of the event.
