Adult & Pediatric First Aid CPR/AE is an Essential Requirement
Did you know? According to Safety Activity Checkpoints, having a minimum of one adult present that is certified in Adult & Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED is an essential requirement for troop meetings, outings, campouts, and more.
There are multiple approved providers you can use to complete your Adult & Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED course outside of council-run training courses. Please make sure the class you choose has an in-person skills portion. Online-only certificates are not accepted by GSofSI.

- American Safety and Health Institute
- Emergency First Responder
- EMS Safety Service
- Medic First Aid
- National Safety Council
- Stonehearth Open Learning Opportunity
- American Trauma Event Management (ATEM) – Adult & Child or Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED and Standard First Aid training only.
