Pearl Society Benefits

If helping girls and young women grow up with courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place is exciting to you, and you want a safe place for girls and young women to learn and make friends in a girl-focused, girl-driven, girl-only environment... then you understand the importance of Girl Scouts.

Girl Scout’s founder, Juliette Gordon Low, nicknamed “Daisy,” was the visionary who created an organization preparing girls to lead with courage, confidence and character. To carry out her vision, Juliette sold her strand of pearls to fund the organization. With this act of philanthropy in mind, Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois invites you to become a part of our Pearl Society through recurring gifts of support.
