Congratulations to our Girl Scout Robotics teams for their excellent performance at recent FIRST LEGO League Challenge Regional Qualifying Tournaments.
In FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Challenge, students in grades 4-8 plan and build an autonomous robot that they program to navigate missions that score points on a gameboard. They also conduct an extensive research project. After several weeks of preparation, teams meet at regional tournaments where they compete using their robots and deliver a research presentation.
Koala Koders and Minecraft Bees qualified to advance to the FLL Challenge Sectional Tournament on January 24 at Centralia Middle School.
In addition, Flower STEM earned the Motivate Award and Minecraft Bees were an Innovation Project Award Finalist.
Congratulations to all of our teams for their hard work and dedication this season! Thank you to American Water Charitible Foundation for helping us continue our legacy of Girl Scout Robotics.
