Join Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois as we celebrate Summer at Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana! On this 4 day, 3 night trip, we will take a bus to travel to Holiday World, stay at the Sun Outdoors Lake Rudolph Outdoor Resort, enjoy two full days at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari and on the last day, we will round out the trip on the way home with a visit to Lincoln's Boyhood Home National Memorial Park & Visitor's Center.
This trip includes: Bus transportation with pick up and drop off locations from Fairview Heights and Mt. Vernon, lodging, park tickets for Holiday World & Splashin' Safari, $50.00 HoliCash for Girl Scouts, field trip to Lincoln's Boyhood Home National Memorial on Sunday, June 23, some meals, program materials, t-shirt, patch.
Meal Information: Some meals will be provided during this trip. Dinner will be available on June 20, breakfast snacks and lunch will be available on June 21 and 22, breakfast snacks and lunch will be provided on June 23. June 21 and 22 dinners will be on your own and with assigned groups.
Lodging Information: We will be staying at Sun Outdoors Lake Rudolph Outdoor Resort in the Holiday Cottages/Cabins that sleep multiple people.
Group Information: Please include Troop/Buddy information at the time of registration. On park days, we will be divided into smaller groups and then meet up at designated times as an entire group for meals, etc.
Parents, Caregivers and Troop Leaders: All adult registrants must have a current Girl Scout membership and clear a criminal background check by the time of trip departure. Girl Scout Juniors must have a caregiver or Troop Leader register with them. Girl Scout Cadettes - Ambassadors may travel independently and will travel with an assigned group.
Travel Information: The bus will depart from St. Clair Square Mall, Fairview Heights, IL at 1:00 p.m. The next pick up location will be at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Mt. Vernon at 2:10 p.m. Please select which pick up location you would prefer when registering. On Sunday, June 23rd, we will be back in Mt. Vernon at 4:00 p.m. and Fairview Heights by 5:00 p.m.
Payment Information: The cost is: $400 per Girl Scout and Adult
Participant Deposit: $200 is due at the time of registration.
