Summer Camp
On camp time, Girl Scouts shine. These moments matter – from sparking up a campfire to counting the stars. Campers take on new challenges and discover new strengths, building bright futures while having the time of their lives. Smiles are sunnier, friendships form faster, dreams become bigger, and memories last forever. Time at Girl Scout Camp is time well spent!
Day Camp is for girls in kindergarten and above, with activities on two or more consecutive days for three hours or more. Girl Scout Day Camp is held in a variety of locations across southern Illinois. Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois Day Camps vary in length and age groups served.
Overnight Camp has something to offer for girls of all grade levels. Check out the new family camp options! Also, older Girl Scouts can take on high adventure or horseback riding. Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois Overnight Camps are girl-led, meaning girls will plan many of the activities with their counselors/volunteers, taking advantage of the resources available at the campsite.
Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. Visit our Opportunity Funds page for more information. If you would like to help another Girl Scout have the opportunity to attend camp, please contact us and make a donation.
The Girl Scout Experience Fund (GSEF) supports each registered girl member of Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois so that she may experience activities that build courage, confidence, and character. Visit our GSEF page to learn more. GSEF grant requests are not income based and can be applied for in conjunction with Financial Assistance requests. Please note that GSEF requests must be submitted by a Troop Leader/Treasurer or Service Unit Manager/Treasurer.
