News to Know About Cookie Booths
Cookie Booths are a great way to work together as a team! At a Cookie Booth, Girl Scouts set up a mobile store in front of local establishments. Visit our website to get guidelines for running a fun and safe booth!
Enhance your skills at Volunteer Training Summit! Join us on March 29 at Camp Torqua for a variety of sessions that include team-building, event planning, understanding badge work, troop travel, conflict resolution, and more. Seats are limited, so register today!
There will be Volunteer Appreciation events and certification training available over the course of the weekend, as well. VTS attendees also have the option to stay Friday and/or Saturday night at Camp Torqua! Follow the button below to see all of the details.
Celebrate Together at Volunteer Appreciation Events
We're also hosting two Volunteer Appreciation Events at Camp Torqua on VTS Weekend to say thank you to volunteers.
On Friday, March 28, come out for camaraderie around the campfire at a Fireside S'Mores event! This event is from 6-9 p.m. and is a come-and-go style event. Then, on Saturday, March 29, there will be a special Movie Under the Stars! We're showing Troop Beverly Hills at 6 p.m. on an outdoor projection screen with surround sound and plenty of popcorn.
These events are free for GSofSI Volunteers, but please register by March 17. Please note that volunteers do not have to attend Volunteer Training Summit to participate in Volunteer Appreciation events.
Want to spend a week at camp and provide expert support for campers and counselors? We are looking for skilled volunteers to serve as "Camp Experts." As a Camp Expert volunteer, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise in areas such as leadership, badge work, activity guides, and supporting camp counselors.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Select Saturdays: 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
