Edwardsville Community Foundation Funds New Storm Shelter at Camp Torqua
We are so grateful to Edwardsville Community Foundation (ECF) for providing a $95,000 grant to help us enhance Camp Torqua. Thanks to their generosity, a new storm shelter is being constructed at The Pines, the camp's newest unit. The shelter is anticipated to open later this fall.
AstraFemina Speaker to Inspire in First Session of Women in STEM Webinar Series
Exciting news! Retired USAF Lt. General Susan J. Helms will be the guest speaker for our first Women in STEM Webinar Series session! Along with her prestigious military career, she is a former NASA Astronaut who was a crew member on five Space Shuttle Missions.
These events give Girl Scouts the chance to learn from real world mentors, ask questions, and get advice for following their dreams. Girl Scouts can also earn up to six enamel pins by participating in the webinars. Sign up now for the first session - the deadline is Nov. 3!
