Shiloh Daisy Awarded Girl Scouts' Medal of Honor
Congratulations to Sarah Grace Brenner! The Daisy from Shiloh has been awarded Girl Scouts' Medal of Honor for her courage and quick action when her mother suffered a heart attack this fall.
Since 1913, Girl Scouts has presented Lifesaving Awards to members who have performed acts of heroism beyond the degree of maturity and training expected for their age.

New Storm Shelter Complete at Camp Torqua Thanks to Edwardsville Community Foundation
A new storm shelter and shower house is open at Camp Torqua! Thank you to Edwardsville Community Foundation for providing a $95K grant to make this enhancement possible. They recently toured camp to see how their investment in our Mission has made an impact.
“Edwardsville Community Foundation funds initiatives that directly impact the quality of life of the local community. They recognize the need for Girl Scouting in our community, and the need to support a safe outdoor experience for our members,” said Loretta Graham, Chief Executive Officer for GSofSI.

This summer, we have many options for Overnight Camp at Camp Torqua and Day Camps run by volunteers across Southern Illinois. We're also welcoming the return of Horseback Riding Camp at Greenville University (now an Overnight Camp!) and new opportunities for Family Camp. Sign up now!
