Through community collaboration, Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois provides an extensive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) program that allows girls to participate in robotics competitions, build bridges, discover science and technology, and explore opportunities in non-traditional fields to uncover their full potential.

Robotics
Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois is proud to provide the opportunity for girls to participate in FIRST Robotics. Through this experience, Girl Scouts are learning valuable life skills as they discover how to build and program robots. Under the guidance of mentors, girls experiment with new techniques and learn from the outcomes. Girl Scouts who participate in robotics teams discover their ability to succeed with technology while developing strong teamwork skills. Interested in learning more? STEM Camp
Looking for a STEM-filled experience over the summer? Join us for one of our STEM camps! Mini STEM Camp, a mini day camp, is a great opportunity for Daisies and Brownies to get their feet wet in the camp world while also participating in fun, hands-on STEM activities. Looking for opportunities for more seasoned campers? Juniors and up can join us for a five-day STEM camp with a day or overnight camp option. Be sure to keep an eye on our Camp page for info!
