Congratulations to Girl Scout Robotics teams P3 and Gear Girls! Both teams qualified for the FIRST Tech Challenge State Championship, which will be held Feb. 28-March 1 at Elgin Community College in Elgin.
Gear Girls won the 3rd Place Inspire Award for being “an inspiration to other teams, acting with Gracious Professionalism both on and off the playing field.”
P3 won the Think Award for “removing engineering obstacles through creative thinking.”
In FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), students in grades 7-12 learn to think like engineers. Teams design, build, and code robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams.
Thank you to The Bayer Fund for helping support our Girl Scout Robotics program.
