Happy Girl Scout Week
On March 12, 1912, our founder Juliette Gordon Low founded Girl Scouts with 18 girls in Savannah, Georgia. Today, Girl Scouts is an iconic Movement in history, with more than 50 million alums including many incredible trailblazers such as astronauts, community leaders, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and more!

Cookie Season News: More Opportunities for Girl Scouts to Earn Rewards
In honor of Girl Scout Week, GSofSI is giving its girl members a bonus week to participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program. The Cookie Program has officially been extended until Sunday, March 16!
Plus, we have a NEW shipping promo to offer cookie fans! From March 10-16, customers can get $10 off shipping when they order 10 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies through GSofSI Digital Cookie.
That means that your Girl Scout has even more time to go for the goals they have set. Spread the news using Digital Cookie, help her hold a Lemon-Ups stand or a cookie walkabout, or ask your troop leader to see if there are cookie booth opportunities.
We're collaborating with Douglas-Hart Nature Center in Mattoon to kick off the Girl Scout Tree Promise! Our virtual event on April 3 will help prepare Girl Scouts to plant trees in their communities.
The Girl Scout Tree Promise is a Movement-wide initaitive that pledges to plant five million trees in five years, as well as to protect and honor existing trees. Girl Scouts can earn a patch by participating!
Girl Scout Day Camp provides the opportunity for girls to enjoy fun camp activities during the day or evening, then return home by bedtime. We have a long tradition of successful summer day camps - thanks mainly to our incredible volunteers!
This summer, 14 Girl Scout Day Camps across Southern Illinois still have spaces available. Camp themes include outdoor games, solving mysteries, exploring STEM, and more. There are even two horse camps available through our partnership with Greenville University.

All activities are designed to encourage girls to be active, try a new activity or sport, eat healthy, and to have a well-balanced lifestyle!
New: Martial Arts Patch Program Girl Scouts can earn the Martial Arts patch by exploring various types of martial arts, and/or learning self-defense tactics.
Summer Camp 2025 Overnight Camp and Day Camp sessions are open for registration now! The Girl Scout Experience Fund and Financial Assistance are available.
