Reminder: Financial Reports Are Due June 25
Troop and Service Unit Financial Reports are due the last Thursday in June each year. This year, that is June 25. As the deadline approaches, please take time to review your records and begin preparing your submission. We have tips and resources available to help!
Leaderpalooza is coming up on June 27-28 in Carlyle! Training sessions include Camping Out, Archery, and Flat Water Canoe Training. Plus, we're hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Night on that Saturday. Enjoy fun, food, entertainment, and more! You do not need to attend training sessions to come to this celebration.
Registration at these events also includes an optional overnight stay on a primitive campsite, with continental breakfast in the morning. Act fast - the deadline to sign up is June 8!
Get together and give back this summer! Our "Lend a Paw" service project guides Girl Scouts to help local animal shelters. Each shelter that's participating has its own wish list - be sure to sign up and choose a shelter to help meet it's unique needs. Girls can participate as individuals or as a troop, and there are even special celebration events!
Our popular STEMQuest Challenge is back! Girl Scouts are encouraged to explore science, technology, engineering, and math at their own pace this summer through this hands-on patch program.
Summer Shop Hours In June and July our Council Shop will have adjusted hours:
Monday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Tuesday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Wednesday: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
Thursday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Second & Fourth Saturday of the month: 9 a.m-1 p.m.
